I read a note my grandma wrote back in nineteen twenty-three.
Grandpa kept it in his coat, and he showed it once to me. He said,
"Boy, you might not understand, but a long, long time ago,
Grandma's daddy didn't like me none, but I loved your Grandma so."
We had this crazy plan to meet and run away together.
Get married in the first town we came to, and live forever.
But nailed to the tree where we were supposed to meet, instead

I read those words just hours before my Grandma passed away,
In the doorway of a church where me and Grandpa stopped to pray.

当爱已成往事[引用]
今天碰到了十年前的一个朋友,在事隔十年后第一次和他打招呼,当说出"你好"的时候,发现这十年来的心底的一切都释然了.
心里一直有一张无法寄出的祝福卡。
这张卡片一直压在心底,直到有一天，悄悄地掉了出来，纸微微地有些发黄了，但黑白的背景画面清晰如昔，连同那一句诚挚的祝福：如果分离是必须的，以前的日子愿您珍惜，以后的日子愿您保重。
在走过了长长的心路历程之后，才从卡片里，读出了爱的宽容，爱的感激。从青涩的初恋迈入婚姻的殿堂，机率毕竟是比较小的。有多少人完全没有一点遗憾呢？相爱却因为各种原因不得分离，不管是情深抑或缘浅，终也是一份纯美的生命历程。生命的艰辛让我们知道，有割舍不断的缠绵，才有了今生相逢那心痛难抑的一刻。
不应有恨，见多了爱人反目成仇的林林总总，才知世间真情难求。直面人生的惨淡，才明白青春纯情的可贵。那是一朵朵的蔷薇，幼小的圆满可亲又可怜。虽总是风吹雨打润泽褪去，仍有暗香如故。
人生际遇难知。每一个陪我们走过一段路的人，每一个用心爱过我们的人，每一个曾经将自己灵魂魅力折射到我们心灵深处的人，都应当是我们永远的朋友。因为我们不可能否认，在我们的青春、我们的生命里，有他们永不褪色的微笑；在我们今天的成熟里，有他们昨天的沉淀。
学会对人生感恩吧，苍茫人海中的相遇，已经是一个天大的奇迹。因为年轻，因为幼稚，因为种种说不清道不白甚至微不足道的理由，也许相守的时分并不总是那么愉快，负气而去时更是忽略了对彼此的伤害。当自己也处于相似的困境中，才会惊觉她在那个破碎的夜晚曾经有过的泪水；而岁月已逝，往事如烟，所有的隐痛和悔恨都只能深埋心底。
每一个年头，总有无数的少男少女无意中走向一个甜蜜的际遇；总有无数相爱的人们携手走向婚姻的殿堂；每一个年头，也总有无数的人们劳燕纷飞。相守的岁月，让我们好好珍惜这相聚的缘份；当爱已成往事，在分离的无奈中，不要忘了用昔日残存的温馨轻轻道一声珍重……
情侣间，虽然有各种争吵，小小的矛盾，但两人关系应该越来越好。应该是朝着一个让人高兴的方向发展，但是在高潮部分责怪女孩不懂珍惜，告诫女孩， 不要失去以后才知道去珍惜！
